Is there cleaning service? What does it consist of?

There is a weekly cleaning service. Depending on the floor where you are staying, at the beginning of the course you will be informed of the day of the week that the room is cleaned.

What happens if I am not accepted to the university?

Exceptionally, for those residents who do not pass the baccalaureate, the selectivity or do not obtain a place in any of the universities of Barcelona (the UAB included), the amount of the pre-registration and the deposit will be returned, once the official documentation has been provided. that justifies any of the above options.

If the resident unsubscribes or renounces the place voluntarily or for reasons other than those mentioned, they will not be entitled to pre-registration payment.

Who can live in the residence?

Yes, Àgora BCN is open to the entire university community. We accept students from any university and university course, as well as baccalaureate students, masters and postgraduates, doctorates and other studies.

What is the cost of the reservation, enrollment and/or deposit?

For complete stays (9 months) the PRE-REGISTRATION is €250, the DEPOSIT is €1,000 for a double room and €1,200 for a single room.

PRE-REGISTRATION is free for stays of 1 and 2 months (stay payment in advance), for stays of between 2 and 3 months it is €150, and for stays of more than 3 months it is €250. The DEPOSIT is not necessary for stays of 1 and 2 months; for longer stays in a double room it is €1,000 and in a single room €1,200.

No, smoking is not allowed inside the Residence. Since the Anti-Tobacco Law of 2011 came into force, smoking is prohibited in any type of space for collective use that is not outdoors.
