Who can live in the residence?

AMRO Estudiantes offers accommodation for students of all genders and nationalities enrolled in any higher education course in Spain.
Note: If you are a minor before moving with us, your legal guardian, mother or father, will be able to make the reservation for you.

Can I personalize my room?

Yes, as long as you can return it to its original state when you leave. If not, you will be charged for any damage.

What is the minimum stay?

Full Course Stay: The minimum and mandatory duration is 10 months (From September 1, 2022 to June 30, 2024).

Intermediate Stays: Duration starting from one month, shorter than the Full Course, and it is possible to set an entry and exit date. Additional days of stay will be charged applying the monthly price plus the contracted services, prorated based on 30 days. In case of extension for entire months, the monthly price that was being applied will be applied according to the type of stay.

Can I bring guests?

You can have visitors, they will simply have to register at the reception, however, if your visitor is staying overnight, you will have to consult with someone from the residence team beforehand and make the appropriate reservation.

There is no registration cost and I know that there is a deposit of €700.

Is there cleaning service? What does it consist of?

At AMRO Estudiantes, the cleaning staff cleans and maintains the common areas. Remember that cleaning your room and changing sheets and towels will be done once a week. However, you can request an extra cleaning service for your room with the residence staff for an additional charge.

Is there laundry in the residence?

Yes, there is a laundry with a large number of washers and dryers that you can use 24 hours a day.

Does the residence provide sheets and towels?

Yes, the service of sheets and towels and the weekly change is included in the rent for stays of a full course or longer than a month.

How is payment made?

Accepted Answer

Single payment for the entire stay: A discount of 3% of the total amount of the stay will be applied. A single receipt will be issued during the first 5 days of the start month of your contract. Single payment only valid for full course stays (9.5 months).

Monthly payment: The receipt will be issued during the first 5 days of each month. Payments can be paid: By direct debit to a SEPA Zone account.

What happens if I am not accepted to the university?

The reservation cancellation conditions and deposit refund policy are detailed from the beginning of the reservation process in the reservation conditions. If you have any questions about canceling your reservation and/or opting for a refund, contact the residence staff.
In any case you must send an email to the residence notifying the cancellation. You can also cancel the reservation by directly emailing the residence manager, you can find his email address on the residence page.

Can you smoke?

No, smoking is not allowed inside the Residence. Since the entry into force of the Anti-Smoking Law of 2011, smoking is prohibited in any type of space for collective use that is not outdoors.
