The Cardenal Cisneros Higher Education Center, attached to the Complutense University of Madrid, is one of the oldest in Spain. Founded almost 50 years ago, it was recognized by Order of the Ministry of Education and Science on September 14, 1971 (BOE no. 248, of October 16, 1971).

The entity that owns the CUCC is the "Fundación Fray Francisco Jiménez de Cisneros" (Decree 102/98 of June 11, of the Ministry of Education of the Autonomous Community of Madrid -CM-) . Its Board of Trustees is chaired by the Minister of Education of the CM and is composed of members appointed by the CM and the UCM.

It is intended to cooperate in the activities of the University and provides its students with all the rigor and excellence of regulated training, along with the effectiveness of personalized attention.
